Delicious reasons to move to Radlett

When you’re moving to a new area, it’s always good to look for a town with lots going on. Radlett is one of those towns, which is one reason why it’s such an attractive place to live. In fact, the residents of Radlett are very well catered for when it comes to eating out with cafés and restaurants to suit all budgets and occasions. Apart from the usual range of chains and takeaways, there are a number of independent cafés and restaurants to try. Here’s a selection of what to expect:

Teatro Café

The Radlett Centre provides the town with a theatre, cinema, art gallery and event space. It is also home to the Teatro Café which is open every day for brunch, lunch or just tea and cake.

Va’Pensiero calls itself the ‘Home of authentic Italian dishes’ and is popular with local people. It uses the finest and freshest local seasonal produce and has an extensive cellar of Italian and world wines.

Tim’s Table is a family-run restaurant that has been in the heart of Radlett for 25 years. The family put their longevity and success down to fresh ingredients, attention to detail, and authentic Chinese food.

Sushi lovers head for Zushi Sushi in the town centre. Open every evening, with the addition of Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes, you can eat in, takeaway or order a home delivery.

Something for everyone

Daisy’s in the Park is a café and restaurant that offers food and cakes made by talented young chefs. Daisy’s offers breakfast, lunch and main meals throughout the day, with an evening menu specialising in hearty mains and burgers.

The Bull Pen Tea Room is on the edge of the town on the popular Battler’s Green Farm Shopping Village. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, or just tea and cake.

Upmarket pub grub

If you’re looking for a meal where fine dining meets pub classics, the Red Lion on Watling Street is worth a look. It also serves breakfast.
